The Department of Radiation Protection and Radiochemistry consists of a measurement laboratory in Vienna and two measurement stations in Graz and Innsbruck. The measurement laboratory in Vienna carries out gamma and alpha spectrometry and liquid scintillation measurements for various specimens. The measurement stations in Graz and Innsbruck conduct gamma spectrometry analyses for samples taken from foods and the environment.
