鹽城沿海工業(yè)園是經(jīng)江蘇省人民政府和國家發(fā)改委批準(zhǔn)的省級化工基地。園區(qū)西依中山河而建，擁有內(nèi)河岸線12公里；北臨黃海而立，擁有海岸線4公里；距濱海市中心38公里，距沿海高速入口30公里、距濱海港7.5公里。園區(qū)創(chuàng)建于2002年5月。近期規(guī)劃面積20平方公里,現(xiàn)有各類化工企業(yè)100多家，涵蓋生物化工、醫(yī)藥化工、新材料化工和鹽化工等領(lǐng)域。園區(qū)遠期控制面積50平方公里。向東與濱海港連成一線，重點發(fā)展精細化工、煤化工和石油化工， 產(chǎn)業(yè)方向及招商重點：做長氯堿產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈、做強特色產(chǎn)業(yè)園。
    Jiangsu Binhai Economic Development Zone Coastal Industrial Park is a provincial base of chemical industry，which is authorized by Jiangsu Provincial Peoples Government and National Development and Reform Commission. Since situated at the west of the Zhongshan river and the north of the Huanghai sea, we have unique geographical conditions，such as 12 kms embankment line and 4 kms coastline. There are 38 kilometers from the zone to the city center of Binhai, and 30 kilometers to the coastal high-speed entrance, and 7.5 kilometers to the Binhai port.The park were established in May 2002.According to the short-term plan, we have exploited 20 square kilometers land, and more than 100 industries have been stationed, such as bio-chemical industry, medicine chemical industry, new materials and salt chemical industry.According to the long-term plan, 50 square kilometers land will be exploited to develop fine chemical, coal chemical and petrochemical industries.
